My life is like a play. Sure, sure, why not? Sometimes it's Wendy Wasserstein and it isn't very interesting but it is menstrual, sometimes it's Chekhov and it's depressing but beautiful and funny, sometimes it's John Patrick Shanley and it's painfully poignant though still humorous, and there are even times when it's absurd with logic a la Tom Stoppard or Ionesco or absurd with its own logic a la Samuel Beckett and on and on ad infinitum. Sometimes it's a Cole Porter musical and sort of cheesy but uncompromisingly fabulous. One day it could be one of my plays. Usually it's just me cutting my toenails, or something. Misguided post-post-post-post-modernism, or something.
